ALM Reception this Friday

Students who have been admitted to the Extension School's ALM program should have received an invitation to a reception at the Harvard Faculty Club this Friday, Nov. 3.

I've never attended these HES events in the past, mainly because I didn't really know any other ALM candidates. This year is different -- I can say that I know other ALM candidates, largely because of this blog, and the ALM thesis writers' meetings I've been attending for the past year.

If you plan on going, and we've met in person, or we've talked by email, or you're a Harvard Extended "lurker", be sure to say hello. It's always interesting to share and compare ALM experiences and put faces to names.

If you've never been to the Faculty Club, it's an older two-story, house-like building with a small yard, right on Quincy Street, kind of across the street from the Lamont Library. Parking is usually possible on Mass Ave or Cambridge Street around 5:30 pm, but the spots should really evaporate quickly, as it's a Friday evening.
